Designed in 1975.
The Bonady House is a classic modern house, modeled on the idea of a bi-nuclear floor plan.
One of the first public structures designed by Joseph A. Connell, this church opened it's doors in 1961. Images to be posted in the future - watch this location.
Perched on a steep slope next to Keuka Lake, this Keuka Lake Residence (one) is designed with great vistas of the lake.
Designed for open living, the architect's own home featured flowing spaces and large amounts of natural light, from huge windows and overhead skylights.
The Joseph A. Connell Archives illustrate the architectural career of Joe Connell. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Connell was a veteran of WWII, where he was active in England and France. Joe Connell was educated at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL). He practiced architecture primarily in Corning New York from the late 1950's into the 1990's. He also completed projects in Bermuda, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas.
The archives are a work-in-progress, and different projects will be illustrated by rotation.
